Any one know why a kitchen faucet would stop working?
Every other faucet in the house works but our kitchen faucet is not giving us any water. Anyone know what the problem could be?
Are you sure that the shutoff valve is not in the closed position? Either right under the sink, or farther down the dedicated pipes that lead to your faucet? Or…
If the faucet is old it might simply be a matter of worn out parts like rubber gaskets blocking the flow of the water, or broken metal parts preventing the turning of the faucet to open the water valve.
I wouldn’t peter around trying to fix these if the faucet is over five years old. You can simply buy a replacement faucet for a decent price, and replace it.

Without knowing the specific make and model of the faucet it is a question that I can’t answer. Some have rubber gaskets, some have ball fittings, etc. Try going to the website of the maker of your faucet and ask the question to them there.

The pipes may be frozen or if your water is hard enough you could have solidified your pipes, can happen but it is rare. it’s easy to see if your line is frozen just try opening up the doors below the sink and see if anything happens.
