go to a real plumbing store and if they don’t carry that brand they will order it for you or tell you where to get it. Also look up their website.

The problem isn’t in the shower head, it’s in the shower valve.

You need to turn the water to the house off and remove the handle (acrylic handles have a screw beneath the Delta plastic cap. Unscrew the brass ring – this will enable you to pull the cartridge out. The cartridge comes apart (about) in the middle. Carefully (so you don’t lose any parts) with two hands twist the top and the bottom of the cartridge in opposite directions, inside you will find two rubber seats and two springs. Replace these with new ones, probably about $5 at Home Depot or Lowes. Reassemble using high temp stem grease, grease up the disc (that makes contact with the rubber seats- make sure the springs are inserted into the rubber seats just the way the old ones came out. Grease up the o rings when you re-insert the cartridge.

You don’t have to buy the whole cartridge, just 2 seats and 2 springs which will come in a little kit by themselves.

It came with the base (vanity) and a counter/sink piece to sit on top. We don’t see anyway to secure the counter to the vanity. It just sits there. But it rocks a little actually. Seems like it should stay in place somehow other than because the faucet is attached to the plumbing.

How do we do this? It didn’t come with any pieces, and maybe it should have come with directions we don’t have.

i place about an inch of caulk at all four corners, if you ever need to take if off it would be almost impossible if you caulk the entire edges.
other than that its just the weight of it that keeps it in place.
(the vanity cabinet should be attached to the wall with screws)
place the vanity top in place, do not push down too hard or all the caulk will be pressed out and it could still rock a little.
caulk around where the vanity top meets the wall to keep out water.

I removed the handle , however, I could not remove the cover to expose the interior parts. Delta sent me a cartridge to replace, but no instructions how to install
cheked the delta website. no instruction how-to dis-assemble

Take a cresent wrench or a pipe wrench and loosen the nut that is around the stem. Use a towel in the jaws of the wrench so you won’t mess up the chrome or other finish that it has. Good luck. If you need further assistance, go down to the hardware store and have them give you instructions or show you how it’s done.

It is picking up frequency, occassionally stopping twice during a shower. Infrequently, the same problem can be said for kitchen and bathroom sink faucets, but rarely. The water pressure is fine prior to, and following these occurrences. Thank you for any suggestions.

Two things come to mind.
1) are you on a well or city water? If on a well you could have a defective bladder in your pressure tank. The tank/bladder evens out the pressure when the well pump cycles on and off.

2) I have seen this happen when you have a bad washer in a valve. If this happens in different fixtures in the house this is not likely your problem.

Is it possible to change out the fixture even if the original fixtures are one name brand and the ones I want to use are another name brand. Do I have to do something special like change the valves behind the wall?

Name brand will not be an issue when changing out fixtures. Toilets are made to be interchangable. There may be some variances in how close the tank sits to the wall or the width of the tank.
Sinks are not a problem. The drains will probably have to be re-worked and you will probably need new supply tubes from the shut-offs to the faucets unless they are the flexible variety.
All in all the swapping of old fixtures for new ones is usually not a big problem.
If you are doing showers or tubs you are getting into a bigger job all the way around. Good luck.

It’s really big and has lots of storage but It’s kind of deep, which means you can’t get really close to the mirror and has no drawer space, but I can deal with that. Problem is it’s counter height and he installed an above counter faucet. I’m 5′5" and it’s tough for me to use. Any ideas on how to fix? Get a recessed sink installed. It was a gut renovation. Unfortunately, this list of things is long, and I don’t see any of them getting done. All the wall lights in the bathrooms are offcenter and too low (not noticed until I went to put up mirrors – your head gets cut off if you’re over 5′6")

REMOVE VANITY AND CUT THE TOE KICK OFF–WILL DROP THE TOP 4 TO 6 INCHES. RE-INSTALL–OR REPLACE WITH A REGULAR VANITY BASE 24" DEEP SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP THE GRANITE TOP. GOOD LUCK
