How to fix a too tall bathroom vanity?
The developer used a kitchen cabinet for the vanity in the bathroom. It’s really big and has lots of storage but It’s kind of deep, which means you can’t get really close to the mirror and has no drawer space, but I can deal with that. Problem is it’s counter height and he installed an above counter faucet. I’m 5’5" and it’s tough for me to use. Any ideas on how to fix? Get a recessed sink installed. The countertop is granite… Thanks!
It was a gut renovation. Unfortunately, this list of things is long, and I don’t see any of them getting done. All the wall lights in the bathrooms are offcenter and too low (not noticed until I went to put up mirrors – your head gets cut off if you’re over 5’6")
REMOVE VANITY AND CUT THE TOE KICK OFF–WILL DROP THE TOP 4 TO 6 INCHES. RE-INSTALL–OR REPLACE WITH A REGULAR VANITY BASE 24" DEEP SO THAT YOU CAN KEEP THE GRANITE TOP. GOOD LUCK

Get a step-stool…it’s the cheapest way.

If this is a new house, I’d have the builder replace the cabinet.
